Our darts league started in 2012. It was agreed by all teams that our darts league will 100% Charity based. Our teams meet up Monday nights throughout the year in a round robin format playing 6 games of 701 each week.
Since the league began we have raised over £70,000 for various charities in the Wombwell & District area. This is all credit to the players who give up their time each week to participate in the league. Entry fees and various domino cards generated majority of the funds. This year we are hoping to get sponsorship for the league and tournaments. This will hopefully raise the bar and give us a bigger pot to share out with our chosen charities or to the local community.
